College student journalists from Tianjin universities walked into Sun Hope Public Welfare Primary School to carry out the activity of "Enjoyable Reading in the Scent of Books, Building Dreams for Growth".
During the activity, the college student journalists interacted with the primary school students through a series of game sessions such as "Knowledge Contest" and "Sharing Reading Stories", sharing the joy of reading together.
This interesting reading activity of "Enjoyable Reading in the Scent of Books, Building Dreams for Growth" entering Sun Hope Public Welfare Primary School not only provided a platform for the children to show themselves and exchange ideas, but also enabled them to feel the power of knowledge and the beauty of dreams in the process of reading.
In 2021, Sun Hope actively responded to the call of the state to build a "bookish society" and deepened its public welfare cooperation with the China Guanghua Science and Technology Foundation (under the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League), launching the "Sun Hope Reading Room" project to empower and upgrade the public welfare concept of "Let Love Spread Out".
Sun Hope Public Welfare is well aware that it is not difficult to build a reading room. The real challenge lies in how to expand this "one" to "hundreds", achieving extensive coverage from point to surface, and ensuring that this process can be promoted in a lasting and stable manner with far-reaching impacts. The "Sun Hope Book Renewal Plan" emerged accordingly. With the convergence of faint lights, it has become another pioneering initiative of Sun Hope Public Welfare in the field of school assistance.
Regarding the "Sun Hope Reading Room", Ms. Chen Minjun, the chairperson of Sun Hope Company and the founder of the Sun Hope Public Welfare Foundation, and Mr. Chen Yixun, the director of the Sun Hope Public Welfare Foundation, also gave full affirmation and expectation: "We put the growth of children first. We hope that through rich collections of books, we can inspire the unlimited potential of children and bring them spiritual inspiration. We hope that the 'Sun Hope Reading Room' can become a new spiritual home for children."
