The 222nd Shanghe Public Welfare School was inaugurated.

For the children of Wengben Primary School in Xingyi City, the just-passed Children's Day was destined to be warm and unforgettable. Because they not only reaped happiness and smiles but also received a special "gift".

On this Children's Day, Shanghe Loving Ambassadors Wu Decheng and Chen Baoyun, as well as Shanghe caring volunteers, walked into Wengben Primary School in Xingyi City, Guizhou Province, entered the lives of the children. They passed on a warmth with an inauguration ceremony and illuminated their childhood with love.

On June 1, 2022, the inauguration ceremony of Wengben Shanghe Wu Decheng Primary School in Wanfenglin Sub-district Office, Xingyi City, Guizhou Province was held. This is the 222nd public welfare school aided by the Shanghe Public Welfare Foundation nationwide and the second one in Guizhou Province.

Improving School Running Conditions and Lovingly Boosting Education

Wengben Primary School in Wanfenglin Office, Xingyi City, Guizhou Province was founded in 1957. It is located in Wengben Village School Group, Wanfenglin Sub-district Office in the south of Xingyi City, 16 kilometers away from the urban area.

After an in-depth understanding of the school, the Shanghe Public Welfare Foundation, together with Loving Ambassadors Wu Decheng and Chen Baoyun couple, donated funds to the school for purchasing equipment such as rice steamers, disinfection cabinets, cafeteria refrigerators, basketball stands, table tennis tables, desks and chairs, all-in-one machines, and campus broadcasts, helping the school improve teaching conditions.

Using Books as a Bridge and Love as a Beam.

Inaugurated together with the school is also the 15th "Shanghe Library" - the Shanghe Wu Decheng School Library. The establishment of the library has brought more than 3,900 books to the children. It is hoped that these books can enrich the children's after-school life and illuminate their road to learning.

A Different Children's Day, Unforgettable Memories.

At the inauguration ceremony, Shanghe Loving Ambassador Wu Decheng said emotionally, "I am very grateful to Shanghe Company and the Shanghe Public Welfare Foundation for enabling me to realize my public welfare dream and aid in building a public welfare school named after myself. At the same time, I want to say to all the children that reading can change destiny. I hope you can read more books, study hard, increase your knowledge, and become useful people to society when you grow up."
