On May 15, 2021, Gaoqiao Menghan Sunhope Liangyumei Primary School in Xiaochengzi Town, Ningcheng County, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, held a plaque unveiling ceremony. This is the 211th public welfare school supported by Shanghe Public Welfare Foundation nationwide and the 31st public welfare school in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

Sunhope Love Ambassador Liang Yumei and more than 120 Sunhope Love Volunteers came to the scene, together with all the teachers and students of Gaoqiao Menghan Primary School, to witness the never-ending footsteps of Shanghe Public Welfare's aid construction and another round of love transmission。

Campus renovation&student aid pledge

Gaoqiao Menghan Primary School was founded in September 1964, covering an area of 13513 square meters. The school adheres to the principle of "laying the foundation for students' lifelong development" and takes "letting every child's life shine brightly" as its educational philosophy, promoting students' comprehensive development. However, due to historical reasons and geographical location, there are more students from single parent families and insufficient sports facilities in schools.

After learning about the actual situation of the school, Shanghe teamed up with Love Ambassador Liang Yumei to donate funds to the school for the hardening renovation of the school playground and the establishment of Shanghe Library.

Before renovation vs after renovation

The former dirt playground has changed. The children finally bid farewell to the muddy playground with wind and dust, and the dream of owning a cement playground has become a reality. After being inspected and put into use, the children eagerly ran and played on the brand new playground.

While helping to improve the campus environment, Shanghe Love Ambassador Liang Yumei also walked into the homes of the assisted students, patiently inquiring about their life details and difficulties, carefully listening to their wishes and voices, and helping them improve their living conditions through one-on-one donations.

At the unveiling ceremony, members of the volunteer team led by Shanghe Love Ambassador Liang Yumei also made one-on-one donations to 10 students who excelled in both academics and character, helping them successfully complete their studies, grow up and achieve their dreams.

Entering the forefront of public welfare and practicing the oath of joining the Communist Party

At the unveiling ceremony, the leaders of Gaoqiao Menghanshanghe Liangyumei Primary School led the school's party members and teachers and volunteer team members to face the red party flag, raise their right fists, and fulfill the oath of joining the party.

Shanghe Library unveiled its plaque

Also unveiled this time is the Shanghe Liang Yumei Primary School Library, which is the second Shanghe Library built with the assistance of Shanghe and the Communist Youth League Central Committee China Guanghua Science and Technology Foundation since the launch of the "Shanghe Library" project.

Shanghe Library has acquired 2658 books for Gaoqiao Menghan Shanghe Liangyumei Primary School, covering various fields such as literature, art, science, education, history, geography, etc. The establishment of the Shanghe Library has enriched the cultural resources of the school, helped children broaden their horizons, and improved their learning abilities.

Affection for our homeland, giving back to our hometown

Offering love to our homeland and giving back to the mulberry trees to show our true feelings. Throughout, Shanghe Love Ambassador Liang Yumei has always cared about her hometown and regarded giving back to her hometown and helping more children as her driving force for hard work and struggle.

The Gaoqiao Menghan Primary School, which was built with assistance this time, is the second public welfare school built by Liang Yumei in her hometown of Ningcheng County, Chifeng City. In June 2017, Shanghe Love Ambassador Liang Yumei assisted in the construction of her first public welfare school - Taizi Shanghe Liangyumei Primary School (the 109th Shanghe Public Welfare School) in Xiaochengzi Town, Ningcheng County, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia.

Before the unveiling ceremony, Teacher Liang Yumei returned to the first public welfare school she had built with full love, bringing materials worth 5500 yuan and 12000 yuan worth of books to the children, hoping that they could study hard and grow up happily.

Every successful unveiling of Shanghe Public Welfare School is another expansion of Shanghe Public Welfare's territory.
