On April 21, 2022, the party branch of Sunhope Company, members of Sunhope Public Welfare Foundation, Sunhope Ambassadors of Love Liu Hong and Liu Wei, and the teachers and students representatives of Sunhope Liuhong Primary School in the ancient city of Tianquanhu Town, Xuyi County jointly participated in the "cloud unveiling" ceremony.

This is the 220th public school built by Sunhope Public Welfare Foundation nationwide and the second in Jiangsu Province.

Campus renovation with a new look

Gucheng Primary School, Tianquanhu Town, Xuyi County, Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province, is located on the northwest border of Xuyi. It was founded in the spring of 1944 and has a long history of education. Due to its remote mountainous location, the majority of students in the school are left behind children.

Over the years, the school has increased its efforts in campus construction, but the waterproofing of the roof of the school's functional buildings has been greatly damaged. Once it rains heavily, the functional rooms on the top floor will leak water. The activity area and playground track in front of the teaching building are bumpy and uneven, which poses great challenges to campus cultural construction.

After understanding the actual situation of the school, Sunhope Public Welfare Foundation, together with Ambassadors Liu Hong and Liu Wei, donated money to the school for playground reconstruction (paving asphalt pavement) and waterproof reconstruction of the teaching building roof.

At the same time, the "Sunhope Library" will be set up to let students form the good habit of loving, reading good books and being good at reading, so as to help the children's development and let them gallop in the sea of knowledge and harvest spiritual wealth.

The Sunhope Liuhong School Library unveiled this time is the 13th Sunhope Library unveiled. The establishment of the library will bring more than 2000 books to children, enriching their spiritual world and allowing books to accompany their growth and success.
