Sunhope Joins Hands with Shougang Sports

Tianjin Jinguantun Sunhope Zhang Yirong Public Welfare Primary School

On May 19, Lei Meng, Yang Ali, Shi Xiufeng and Sun Yuming, players of Beijing Shougang Basketball Club, came to Tianjin Jinguantun Sunhope and Zhang Yirong Public Welfare Primary School. As "public welfare ambassadors", they participated in the public welfare activity of "falling in love with basketball and cheering for teenagers" jointly organized by Shougang Sports and Tianjin Sunhope Public Welfare Foundation.

At the event, Chen Yixun, president of Sunhope Charity Foundation, awarded the honorary certificates of "Sunhope Charity Ambassador" to the four players.

Chen Yixun, President of the Board of Directors, said that this is another collaboration between Sunhope Public Welfare Foundation and Shougang Sports after last year's "Sunhope Orientation, Suntech Public Welfare Day" activity.

For a long time, Sunhope Public Welfare and Shougang Sports have always been committed to fulfilling their social responsibilities, and share a common concept and vision.

Amid warm applause and cheers, Lei Meng, Yang Ali, Shi Xiufeng and Sun Yuming entered Jinguantun Sunhope and Zhang Yirong Public Welfare Primary School. The children looked up at the players who were a large part taller than themselves and couldn't help sighing. What surprised the children was that these idols came to their side and had a rich, interesting, and exciting basketball class together.

The players personally demonstrated and patiently guided, and for some children who have never been exposed to basketball, they taught them step by step from scratch. The players teach diligently, and the children learn with concentration. From being unstable with the ball at the beginning, to successfully hitting the basket, the children bounced and jumped happily.

Since its establishment in 1993, Sunhope has always regarded it as the brand's responsibility to deeply cultivate public charity and shoulder social responsibility. It has successively constructed three public welfare projects, namely, "let love spread", "let love continue", and "one heart assistance", covering many fields, such as donating money to help students, helping the needy, and relieving the elderly. After years of public welfare practice and achievements accumulation, on March 25, 2014, Sunhope Public Welfare Foundation officially obtained the foundation legal person registration certificate, becoming the 57th non-public foundation in Tianjin. Adhering to the public welfare concept of "Caring for charity and caring for sustainability", Sunhope has its unique characteristics in terms of duration, action strength and method of action over the years. Through continuous practice and action, it has formed the core strategy of "public welfare, sports, media, dual carbon goals, rural revitalization" and the five tactics of "replicable, sustainable, callable, quantifiable, and focused", and always retains its own unique public welfare gene.

Sunhope's "Let Love Go" project has helped build 232 Sunhope public welfare schools, 127 "Sunhope libraries", donated 111800 books, launched 131443 Sunhope love volunteers, invested more than 57.27 million yuan in love funds, and donated more than 96923 students, covering 23 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions across the country. The love map is still expanding.
